Styker - Electrical & Electronic Engineers R&D Grad Programme 2025-2027
The **“R&D Graduate Programme”** is a 24-month structured graduate development programme in the R&D function. The programme rotates on a 6-month rotating assignment basis in order to learn and develop the basic knowledge and skills in the various engineering areas of expertise. The position rotates on a 6 monthly assignment basis: **Design** **Advanced Operations / Research and Technology Development** **Advanced Quality Engineering** **Engineering Services (CAD/Prototype/Test Lab)** During each rotational assignment participants will be responsible for: + Participating in various project teams. + Working with a highly creative design team to invent and develop innovative new product concepts. + Investigating, designing, developing and implementing new devices and technology. + Accelerating the launch of new products by removing the technology unknowns + Working within the quality systems and work closely with Design, Quality and Manufacturing Engineering. + Providing process validation support both internally and with vendors. + Developing and qualifying new test equipment and methods. + Researching, specifying and qualifying new test or prototyping equipment. + Designing circuits including but not limited to Schematic Capture, Layout and Failure Mode Analysis for PCBA’s, Cables and other electromechanical components. + Independently designing and developing electrical components and sub-systems for medical devices. + Conducting advanced problem-solving, identifying potential solutions, and evaluating them against component and sub-system requirements. + Supporting Voice of Customer sessions internally and with clinicians. **What Are We Looking For?** + **Dedicated achievers** : People who thrive in a fast-paced environment and will stop at nothing to ensure a project is complete and meets regulations and expectations. + **Curious learners** . People who build and leverage cross-functional relationships to bring together ideas, information, use cases, and industry analyses to develop best practices. **What You Need?** + Candidates must have already attained or be on course to attain a **2.1 result** in a **Level 8** or above **Electrical/ Electronic Engineering** course or related discipline. + Candidates must have/will have attained the above between **June 2023 and Sept 2025** . + Self-starter with demonstrated efficient work methods, analytical & problem-solving skills, and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. + The individual should enjoy working in a fast paced, dynamic and results orientated team environment. + Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively work cross-functionally and with global teams.
