Job Title: Study Coordinator

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Study Coordinator, where you will engage in groundbreaking human subject research involving wearable devices in an exercise setting. You will monitor participants and collect data, ensuring seamless execution of study protocols. This role does not include recruiting participants, allowing you to focus on the core aspects of the research.

ResponsibilitiesConsent participants and take necessary vitals and measurements including height, weight, and EKG and throughout the session.Ensure participants are properly set up with devices and monitoring equipment.Observe participants using devices during various activities according to protocol.Ensure proper functioning of data monitoring throughout the session.Collect data accurately through equipment and manual methods.Guide participants through the study, ensuring their comfort and understanding.Essential SkillsResearch skills with a strong foundation in data entry and protocol implementation.Bachelor's degree in science, exercise science, kinesiology, or biology.Technical proficiency to operate test devices and perform data entry.Ability to direct participants through studies, with examples of patient care or people interaction.Familiarity with gym equipment and knowledge of exercise.Capability to stand for an entire shift and engage in clinical research activities.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in human subject research and data analysis.Experience as a personal trainer is a plus.Work Environment

Our work environment includes morning and afternoon shifts, with the option to work double shifts if preferred. Shifts are typically AM (7:30 AM to 3:00 PM) or PM (2:00 PM to 9:00 PM). You may experience variations in scheduled hours based on participant schedules and data collection needs. Enjoy lunches provided and engage in a mix of desk work and participant interaction in a simulated environment. Some studies may occur outdoors. Dress code is casual, suitable for active participation while maintaining a presentable appearance. Training is typically done during day shifts, with accommodations for evening shifts if needed. We have openings for both day and evening shifts. This study will run through the end of the year, potentially extending into early next year.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
