Studio Technical Support Analyst

As a Technical Support Analyst at NEXT, you will be the vital link between complex data systems and our internal business teams. Your mission is to support the image and data-centric applications and workflows developed by our DAM (Digital Asset Management) & Image Services Team, ensuring our operations run seamlessly. Reporting to the Technical Support Team Lead in Enderby, you’ll perform first-line triage and root cause analysis to solve technical hurdles before they impact the business. At NEXT, we don’t expect you to stand still; you’ll be supported with regular performance reviews and one-to-ones to help you evolve your skills and grow within our clear career framework.

 

 

What You’ll Take OnSolve and Support: Provide daily technical and workflow support for data-heavy applications, troubleshooting complex issues and performing incident triage to keep stakeholders satisfied.Innovate Workflows: Constantly look for ways to improve service delivery efficiency, seeking out opportunities to reinvent processes and push boundaries.Bridge the Gap: Translate intricate technical data into clear, professional communication that non-technical stakeholders can easily understand.Educate and Guide: Create and maintain high-quality training documentation, including videos and written guides, and lead training sessions for new and existing applications.Collaborate Broadly: Work closely with the wider development team and various business departments to build user stories based on feedback and ensure cross-team alignment.Drive Quality: Support the continuous testing of applications and workflows to ensure we consistently deliver the highest standards of data and imagery.

 

 

What You’ll BringProven experience in an application or software support role, with a proven ability to prioritise and triage requests in a demanding environment.A strong background in data-centric tools such as PowerBI and Python, alongside a solid understanding of Digital Asset Management.The ability to simplify technical jargon, alongside sound written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.A highly motivated, open-minded approach to change, with a degree in IT/Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.Proficiency in Mac operating systems, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office (particularly Excel).While not essential, experience with FileMaker/Claris, SQL, or post-production processes like studio photography would be a great advantage
