Students must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, etc.), and have good oral and written communication skills. Pay will be hourly and will be based upon the student's level within their program. Minimum Qualifications Qualifications: Eligibility for employment as a student worker requires the individual to be enrolled in full-time status at a high school, age 16 or over, or be enrolled in full-time status at an accredited college or university. Necessary skills are listed below: • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic ability to use Microsoft Word • Detail oriented • Willingness to learn new tasks and handle multiple tasks • Ability to handle confidential matters • Ability to work independently within departmental policies and guidelines • Excellent Communication Skills • Integrity, punctuality and dependability Job Specification The duties of the Student Worker may include, but are not limited to the following: • Answer and direct phone calls. • Log and route mail. • Assist with special projects, as directed. • Assist in the filing/storing of records. • May assist and/or work with networks, phone systems, and website development.
