Student Nurse Intern

Job Summary and Responsibilities

The Student Nurse Intern for the Float Pool will perform a variety of routine tasks to support the delivery of safe, effective, cost-efficient patient care as delegated by the RN. Provides assistance in transporting, transferring and lifting. Performs cleaning functions in patient care units as delegated and performs selected diagnostic tests. The Student Nurse Intern's experiences will prepare the student for their impending new role as a graduate nurse.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School diploma or GEDCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS)Has completed at least one clinical rotation in nursing schoolCurrently enrolled in an accredited nursing program (with verification of enrollment and status)Where You'll Work
