The role offers hands-on experience in implementing cloud security practices and maintaining secure access to cloud-based systems that support the university’s operations. As a valued team member, you will gain practical knowledge in cloud technologies, collaborate with IT professionals, and contribute meaningfully to the security and documentation of critical information systems. Nature & Purpose of Position Responsibilities include:

Cloud Security & Access Management Assist in implementing and verifying security controls. Support password management, permissions updates, and user access in line with security policies. System Documentation & Knowledge Sharing Create clear documentation for permissions management, role updates, and user lifecycle processes. Ensure information is easy for others to follow and aligned with compliance standards. Security Awareness & Training Complete cybersecurity training modules to build foundational security knowledge. Apply learned concepts when working with system owners and cloud platforms. Client Engagement & Collaboration Work directly with system owners to understand their environments. Document system configurations, security practices, and recommend improvements. Contribute to Security Initiatives Participate in compliance efforts for cloud applications.
