Posting Details Posting Information Requisition 202500363ST Title Student Employee-Political Science-Research Assistant Employee Class Student Employee College Work Study Position No Department Dept of Political Science Division Division of Academic Affairs Hours per week 10 Hiring Rate $12/hour Preferred Student Classification Nature & Purpose of Position This project aims to understand volunteer management of disaster relief nonprofit organizations. Students are expected to finish the following tasks: Collect necessary information for volunteer managers and make phone calls as needed. Clean and organize interview transcripts. Meet regularly with the supervisor to report on the progress of research activities. Assist with other research-related tasks as needed.
Other Requirements for the Position Work hours and schedule may vary each week, but the student is expected to work 10 hours per week and meet with the supervisor on a weekly basis. Students should demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, show patience when review interview transcripts, and consistently dedicate effort to the project within the set timeframe.
