Yes County Albany Street Address 40 N Pearl Street, Floor 4 City Albany State NY Zip Code 12207 Duties Description Under the Sr. Financial Analyst, the position will assist with the development and maintenance of dynamic, user-centered dashboards and reports that guide critical decisions in the health and human services space. The Student Intern will help transform raw program and operational data into clear insights through data modeling, interactive reporting, and performance visualizations using both Power BI and Table. The position will work closely with team members to ensure IES business objectives are clearly reflected in all reporting tools.Specific duties include, but are not limited to:• Assist with the design, build, and optimization of data models in Power BI and Tableau that support IES program reporting, product reporting or other performance and operational reporting.• Help develop intuitive and user-friendly reports and dashboards tailored to program-specific needs• Identify trends, performance gaps, and actionable insights using statistical and visual techniques.• Translate complex datasets into accessible visual narratives that guide stakeholders in decision-making.• Assist team members and collaborate with leadership, business users, and external agencies to gather requirements and iterate on deliverables.• Maintain clear documentation, ensure data integrity, and assist with monitoring the performance and accuracy of reports over time.• Investigate and help resolve issues related to data sources, loading, and visualization logic across the program and other teams. Minimum Qualifications • Must be a US citizen or foreign national eligible to work in the United States• Must be 18 years of age or older• Must be currently attending a New York State college, university or graduate program, or be a resident of New York State attending a college, university or graduate program outside of New York State• Must have completed a minimum of one (1) year as a student at a degree-granting two or four-year college or university (completion of one year’s worth of academic credits over a more extended period of time may qualify part-time students) OR currently enrolled graduate student or accepted in a graduate degree program• Must have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.0 or equivalent to a C.
