Job Description Insight Global is seeking Structures Technicians in Atlanta, GA to join a rapidly growing aircraft manufacturer. Responsibilities will include: Complete work order operations, quality buyoffs, and issuing hardware Build mechanical and electrical sub-assemblies Perform functional qualification testing and harness routing between kit assemblies Proficiently use various mechanical tools Maintain, troubleshoot, and install fluid and electromechanical components from a schematic or drawing Work closely with engineers and leadership to develop and implement operational improvements focused on driving task times down and ease of repeatability Rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a high-paced, challenging work environment Play a critical role in coordinated vehicle movements and integrated pressurized ground operations The hourly pay range for this role is on average between $30-$50hr. Skills and Requirements Modify, repair, assemble, drill, and install aircraft components Drill, ream, and countersink full-size holes in parts and assemblies in the proper sequence to the correct size Using hand tools, pilot holes, or by hand per drawing or instructions Select drill bits, reamers, and/or countersinking tools for pilot and full-size holes Align parts and secure in place using clecos or tooling/hand clamps Install fasteners in the correct sequence per drawing using the correct tools Demonstrated ability to take measurements using precision tools such as gauge pins, micrometers, depth gauges, scales, calipers, ball gauges, etc. Previous experience with integration and assembly of large structural assemblies A&P license is preferred CAD/CAM experience preferred
