We’re seeking a Structures Technician – Avionics Modifications (2nd Shift) in Hartford, CT to support high-performance aircraft that serve critical missions and redefine business aviation. In this hands-on role, you’ll bring structural expertise to avionics upgrades, helping deliver world-class aircraft to customers around the world.

Your Role:

You’ll play a vital part in modifying, repairing, and upgrading aircraft structures to meet exacting standards. Responsibilities include:

Troubleshooting, inspecting, and repairing aircraft structures and components

Fabricating or modifying structures for avionics systems

Performing composite repairs (on and off aircraft)

Supporting mechanical/electrical removals, installations, and offsite maintenance

Operating ground support equipment and maintaining a safe, organized workspace

Completing all work and documentation in accordance with FAA and company standards

What You Bring:

Required:

2+ years of structural sheet metal repair/modification experience

Ability to read mechanical engineering drawings

Strong communication skills and personal toolset

Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed

Eligibility for Ground Support Equipment qualifications and SIDA badge

Preferred:

A&P Certificate, A Certification, or Repairman Certificate

Experience with composite structures and basic computer skills

Pay Details: $35.00 to $42.00 per hour
