In the role of Structures Intern, we'll count on you to:Prepare detailed drawings, layouts and sketches for conventional concrete and steel bridges, retaining walls and miscellaneous structures using computer-aided design software.Develop details for complex concrete and steel bridges which may include: prestressed concrete, post tensioned concrete, steel plate girder, truss systems, segmental and cable-stayed.Typical projects will be for highway, transit, and railway projects.Work independently with direction from supervisor and engineers

Preferred Qualifications

2 years completed toward degree with 3.0 GPADemonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of study/industryRequired Qualifications
Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program Attention to detail a must Must possess strong problem-solving and communication skills Basic Microsoft Office skills An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
