Job Description Insight Global is hiring a skilled Structured Cabling Technician to support government facilities in the National Capital Region, focusing on the installation and maintenance of complex ICT and network cabling systems. This individual must me local to the DMV region and possess the ability to travel locally (must have a valid ID and personal vehicle) and nationally. The role involves implementing vendor-neutral infrastructure, ensuring industry-standard practices in cable dressing, labeling, and support hardware installation, and executing infrastructure retrofits when needed. Candidates will test, certify, and troubleshoot copper and fiber optics, adapting management-recommended techniques to streamline network reliability. The technician will also collaborate on cross-functional installations, stay current on evolving connectivity methods, and serve as the primary liaison for vendors. Compliance with federal security protocols and precise documentation of all work are essential to maintaining the integrity of each project.
