**Job Title: Structural Welder** **Pay Rate based on experience $18-$23** **Job Description** We are seeking skilled structural welders to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidates will be proficient in Mig and Flux welding, capable of reading blueprints and tape measures, and knowledgeable in setting amperage and voltage on welding machines. A key requirement is the ability to weld in the 3G (vertical) position and grind welds to perfection. **Responsibilities** + Read blueprints and drawings to take or read measurements for planning layout and procedures. + Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements. + Set up components for welding according to specifications, such as cutting material with powered saws to match measurements. + Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded. + Align components using calipers, rulers, etc., and clamp pieces securely. + Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions including vertical, horizontal, or overhead. + Test and inspect welded surfaces and structures to discover and rectify flaws. + Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in Mig and Flux welding. + Ability to read blueprints and tape measures. + Knowledge in setting amperage and voltage on welding machines. + Ability to weld in 3G (vertical) position. + Minimum of 2 years of structural welding experience. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in fabrication and production environments. + Capability to pass a 3G Mig all the way out on a 3/8 Plate on Carbon. **Why Work Here?** Join a team that values hard work and dedication.
