Shifts Available:

1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM2nd Shift: 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM (Includes two 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute unpaid lunch)Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Structural Welder to join a dynamic fabrication team specializing in steel bridge components. This role involves fluxcore MIG welding, blueprint interpretation, and hands-on fabrication in a fast-paced shop environment. Candidates should be comfortable working in physically demanding conditions and be open to leadership opportunities.

Key ResponsibilitiesPerform fluxcore MIG welding on steel components up to ½\" thick.Read and interpret blueprints to complete full layouts and fabrication.Operate overhead and Jib cranes.Use fabrication equipment: band saws, drill presses, stud welders, grinders.Weld in awkward positions, including crawling under materials.Maintain flexibility and mobility throughout the shop.Potential to grow into a lead welder role.Essential SkillsStrong experience in structural welding.Proficiency in MIG, flux core, and wire feed welding.Ability to work independently and self-direct tasks.Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs, kneeling, stooping, and crawling.Additional QualificationsSkilled in blueprint reading.Must pass 3F and 4F weld tests within the first few days and a 3G test within the first month.Willingness to learn and adapt.Prior leadership experience is a plus.Work EnvironmentSmall-sized structural fabrication shop.Messy conditions; no air conditioning.Hands-on, physically active role.Why Join Us?Yearly bonus potentialCareer growth opportunitiesBe part of a team that values your skills and leadership potential.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr.
