**Apply now for a call within 24 hours!** Job Description Join our team as a Structural Welder, where you will utilize your skills in flux core MIG welding to fabricate steel bridge components up to 1/2" thick. You will work from blueprints to execute full layouts and fabrication tasks. While welding is a significant part of the role, you will also operate overhead and Jib cranes and use equipment such as band saws, drill presses, stud welders, and grinders to complete bridge fabrication. This dynamic position requires mobility around the shop, including crawling under materials and welding in various positions. Responsibilities + Perform flux core MIG welding on steel bridge components. + Work from blueprints to execute full layouts and fabrication tasks. + Operate overhead and Jib cranes as necessary. + Utilize various equipment including band saws, drill presses, stud welders, and grinders. + Move around the shop to fabricate and weld bridges, including working in awkward positions. + Potential to take on lead welder responsibilities in the future. Essential Skills + Strong structural welding experience. + Ability to work independently and determine tasks without direction. + Capability to consistently lift 50 lbs, kneel, stoop, and crawl. + Willingness to learn and adapt. + Ability to pass 3F and 4F within the first few days and a 3G weld test within the first month. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Blueprint reading skills. + Experience in flux core welding on structural steel. + Potential to be a lead. Why Work Here? The environment can be messy and lacks air conditioning. The position offers two shifts: 2nd Shift from 4 pm to 2:30 am and 1st Shift from 6 am to 4:30 pm, with two 15-minute breaks and a half-hour unpaid lunch. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr.
