Supervise day-to-day structural fabrication, erection, and assembly activities at the yard or integration site.
Monitor contractor performance to ensure compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, and project schedule.
Coordinate with engineering, planning, quality, and HSE departments to ensure safe and efficient execution of structural work.
Ensure proper handling, storage, and installation of steel structures and modules, including hull blocks, topside modules, and outfitting supports.
Conduct daily inspections and walk-downs; verify alignment, weld quality, fit-up, and dimensional tolerances.
Review and confirm construction method statements, ITPs (Inspection and Test Plans), and lifting plans.
Liaise with subcontractors, yard supervisors, and client representatives to resolve technical and logistical issues.
Ensure structural work is carried out in compliance with classification society rules (ABS, DNV, BV, etc.) and applicable international codes (AWS, API, ISO, etc.).
Maintain progress records, generate daily reports, and support structural completion documentation.
Uphold safety leadership and promote good HSE practices across all site activities.
