This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your expertise in a full-time contract position located in Nanterre, France, contributing to innovative projects that shape the future of engineering.

Role Overview

Design of Oil & Gas or industrial structural steel works including Pipe Racks, Process Structures, and Truss Structures. Execution of all structural calculations and preparation of related calculation notes. Definition of conceptual principles for primary and secondary steel frameworks and member sizing. Design of specific calculation cases such as bolted and/or welded connections and fatigue analysis. Coordination with the full project team and other disciplines. Participation in validation of drawings produced by designers or execution drawings issued by the fabricator.

Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience as a Structural Steel Calculation Engineer. Knowledge of industrial facilities and task sequencing. Interface management upstream and downstream. Strict application of project procedures. Ability to work with project standards and specifications. Coordination with designers of adjacent areas. Continuous project follow-up. Autonomy, rigor, organization, and active communication. Full knowledge of Eurocodes. Understanding of technical English.

Education & Experience

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering or related field preferred. Certifications: Relevant certifications in structural engineering are advantageous. Experience in structural steel design and calculations #LI-RC6
