Location: Dallas, TX | Pay Rate: $33.81/hour | Schedule: Full-Time, 2nd Shift (2pm - 12:30am)
Summary:
At PDS Tech Commercial, we’re searching for a highly skilled Structural Mechanic IV to take on a leading role in our aerospace assembly operations. This is more than a hands-on job—it’s a critical position that ensures structural excellence and safety in every aircraft we touch. Your precision and leadership will directly impact high-stakes builds and mentor the next generation of mechanical talent.
What You’ll Be Doing:
You’ll operate in a team-oriented environment where independence, precision, and quality matter. Expect to: Lead and execute complex structural assembly tasks using blueprints, schematics, and tech instructions Perform riveting, drilling, and installation with precision across structural assemblies Mentor and assist team members in assembly methods and blueprint interpretation Coordinate with inspection teams to ensure compliance with FAA and company specs Maintain accurate logs (MIR sheets, DMTs, Crabs, PCOs, etc.) and complete all required documentation Solve problems with innovative assembly techniques and help streamline production efficiency Follow safety regulations, Lean initiatives, and 5S standards while keeping your workspace in top shape Support rework and repairs as needed per internal quality tags and standards
Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED 6 years of related structural assembly experience Skilled in blueprint reading and close-tolerance work Must be able to use mathematical formulas and various measuring devices within tight tolerances Able to lift 50 lbs and work in tight or elevated spaces Comfortable working any shift Must speak, read, and understand English Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Solumnia and Smarteam systems Possession of a Q-stamp Prior leadership or mentoring experience in aerospace manufacturing

Pay Details: $33.81 per hour
