Job Description

The Structural Inspector is entrusted with the crucial responsibility of ensuring the integrity and compliance of construction projects. This position demands an exceptionally high level of expertise and meticulous attention to detail.

The successful candidate must possess a bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field. A minimum of five (5) years of proven experience in delivering sustainability-focused projects is mandatory.

Employ professional experience and sound judgment to effectively plan and accomplish project goals with utmost precision.Function under general supervision, demonstrating a high degree of autonomy and critical decision-making capability.Provide essential mentorship and guidance to entry-level employees, fostering their professional development in alignment with organizational standards.Rigorously monitor and enforce adherence to quality standards, performance metrics, specifications, and code requirements through comprehensive and uncompromising inspection procedures.Conduct thorough daily field inspections and maintain meticulously detailed inspection records, ensuring absolute accuracy and completeness.Actively engage in punch list creation, testing protocols, and commissioning processes to ensure project completion meets or exceeds all required standards without exception.Diligently track and report on quality assurance progress, providing critical insights for project management to facilitate informed decision-making.Contribute essential, authoritative input to documentation for area and equipment turnovers, ensuring seamless transitions and handovers.

The ideal candidate will possess LEED AP BD+C accreditation and demonstrate substantial experience in LEED-certified projects or other recognized green building certifications. Proficiency in ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems is highly valued and expected.

Furthermore, the position demands an in-depth understanding of environmental legislation and standards in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with particular emphasis on stringent compliance and reporting requirements.

Strong analytical capabilities, coupled with superior reporting and presentation skills, are indispensable for success in this role. The Structural Inspector must be prepared to communicate complex technical information effectively and authoritatively to various stakeholders.
