Join us. **Job Description** We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Structural Inspector to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a Structural Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and integrity of buildings and structures throughout the region. + Conduct thorough inspections of buildings, bridges, and other structures to assess their structural integrity and compliance with local and international building codes + Analyze blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure construction adheres to approved plans + Perform on-site inspections during various stages of construction to verify proper implementation of structural elements + Identify structural deficiencies and recommend appropriate corrective actions + Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate documentation of findings + Collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors to address structural issues and ensure compliance with safety standards + Stay up-to-date with the latest building codes, regulations, and industry best practices + Utilize structural analysis software to assess complex structural systems + Provide technical guidance and support to junior inspectors and team members + Ensure compliance with the Saudi Building Code (SBC) and local construction practices **Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field + Minimum of 15 years of experience in structural inspection or a related field + Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred + Relevant certifications, such as ICC Structural Inspector certification, are highly desirable + Proficiency in structural analysis software and ability to interpret complex technical data + In-depth knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction materials and methods + Strong skills in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings + Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly + Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and attention to detail + Knowledge of the Saudi Building Code (SBC) and familiarity with local construction practices + Ability to work efficiently and remain organized in a fast-paced environment + Willingness to travel to various construction sites within the Riyadh area **Additional Information** **About AECOM** AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
