Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Structural Inspector to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our construction quality assurance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the structural integrity and compliance of various construction projects throughout the Riyadh area.
Conduct thorough inspections of structural elements on construction sites to ensure compliance with contract documents, drawings, and specificationsCoordinate daily with other teams to document and verify the quality and quantity of work performed by contractorsProcess incoming inspection requests and technical submittals, taking necessary actions as requiredMaintain accurate records of contractor manpower, equipment, and daily resourcesPerform site supervision and inspections as instructed by the Resident Engineer or Assistant Resident EngineerDocument contractor activities, including personnel, equipment, location, and methods utilizedMonitor and report on materials delivery, implementing site instructions from leadershipApply and enforce quality control procedures and safety protocols on construction sitesPrepare site measurements and surveying checks as neededMonitor health and safety compliance of construction works, reporting any violationsCollaborate with project teams to resolve structural issues and ensure project successQualificationsDiploma in Engineering required; related degree in Engineering fields preferred for career advancementMinimum of 15 years of overall experience in structural inspection, with at least 5 years of experience in the Middle East regionProven experience in construction supervision with a consultancy firmStrong knowledge of construction standards, specifications, and structural engineering principlesProficiency in reading and interpreting contract documents, detailed drawings, and specificationsExcellent documentation and record-keeping skillsThorough understanding of quality control and quality assurance processes in constructionFamiliarity with health and safety regulations in the construction industryStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills in English, both verbal and writtenProficiency in relevant software tools for structural inspection and reportingFamiliarity with local building codes and regulations in Saudi ArabiaWillingness to work on various construction sites within the Riyadh areaDetail-oriented approach with a commitment to maintaining high standards of workAbility to work independently and as part of a collaborative teamAdditional InformationAbout AECOM
