Responsibilities:
You'll be instrumental in developing and reviewing designs for structural steel fabrication and construction projects. Your responsibilities will include ensuring all work aligns with applicable codes and methods, translating complex specifications into practical designs, and collaborating with fabrication and construction teams to ensure project success. Your strong history and proactive approach will be key to managing timelines and maintaining the highest standards of quality.

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
These are the "nice-to-have" skills that will help you excel in this role:

Florida Professional Engineer (PE) License (a real plus for the client)

Proficiency in 3D/4D Drafting or CADD software

Experience with Industrial or Commercial construction projects

Education:
High School

Experience:
4-7 years

Qualifications:
These are the must-have foundational skills for this opportunity:

Demonstrated expertise in structural steel fabrication

Strong understanding of construction techniques and sequencing

In-depth knowledge of applicable industry codes and methods

Proven drafting knowledge and ability to read/produce technical drawings

History of being a self-starter and an excellent employment track record
