If you're a Structural Engineer with a passion for precision and a knack for solving complex challenges, they want you on their team.
Blue View are refining and redefining the construction process. Traditional site-built construction is inefficient, time consuming, and wastes materials. Using modern technology and assembly line style production, they build better quality in less time and usually for less money.
Key responsibilities
As a Structural Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in designing and optimizing the structural systems of modular homes destined for U.S. markets Design structural components and prepare technical drawings and specifications for modular and prefabricated homes. Perform engineering calculations and ensure compliance with ICC and California building codes. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources from concept to completion. Ensure quality and safety standards meet local, state, and federal regulations. Solve technical challenges during design, manufacturing, and installation phases. Collaborate with production, logistics, engineering, and field teams. Maintain detailed documentation including reports, material lists, and contracts. What the successful candidate will bring: We’re looking for a driven engineer with a passion for modular innovation and a knack for solving complex problems. Required Qualifications: Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (EIT or PEng required; PE in U.S. a plus) Minimum 3 years of experience in modular construction Proficiency in engineering software for design, analysis, and modeling Strong project management and communication skills Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials for factory-built housing Familiarity with modular building codes In return, you can expect: Competitive salary based on experience ($70,000 - $90,000), however if you have more experience, the range will clearly increase Work remotely from anywhere in Canada Full benefits package Be part of a company redefining housing for the future Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.
