Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a crucial role in designing, analyzing, and overseeing structural systems for a wide range of projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on challenging and innovative projects in a rapidly developing region.

Develop and review structural designs for various construction projects, ensuring compliance with local and international building codes and standardsPerform complex structural calculations and analysis using advanced 3D modeling and design softwareCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, contractors, and other engineers, to integrate structural solutions into overall project designsConduct site visits to assess existing structures and monitor construction progressPrepare detailed technical reports, specifications, and construction drawingsEvaluate and recommend innovative structural solutions to optimize project efficiency and cost-effectivenessParticipate in project planning meetings and provide expert advice on structural engineering mattersMentor junior engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of team capabilitiesStay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in structural engineering

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; advanced degree preferredProfessional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent international certificationMinimum of 15 years of experience in structural design, construction, and commissioning of major capital developmentsProficiency in 3D structural analysis, modeling, and design softwareStrong knowledge of international and local (Saudi Arabian) building codes and standardsExperience with MicroStation, BIM, and AutoCADProficiency in computer applications such as Bluebeam and Microsoft Office suiteKnowledge of asset management principles as applied to structural systemsExcellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented and analytical approachStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environmentInnovative mindset and willingness to explore new technologies and methodologiesFamiliarity with local construction practices and regulations in Saudi Arabia is highly desirableFluency in English required; proficiency in Arabic is a plus
