Structural Engineer responsible for leading 3D structural modeling, detailed design, and project coordination for multidisciplinary engineering projects.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering.
4+ years of experience as a Structural Engineer.
Proficiency in RISA 3D for structural analysis and modeling.
Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) and structural hand calculations.
Experience overseeing creation of 3D models and detailed drawings in RISA 3D.
Experience ensuring design adherence to ANSI, EIA/TIA, and AASHTO standards.
Experience developing and monitoring detailed project scopes and schedules.
Preferred Skills
Experience with SolidWorks for mechanical/detailed design.
Experience coordinating and overseeing technical drawings in SolidWorks with design or MDE teams.
Experience leading and managing multidisciplinary project teams.
Hands-on experience across the full project lifecycle from concept through execution.
Job Responsibilities
Oversee the creation of 3D structural models and detailed drawings using RISA 3D.
Coordinate and oversee technical drawings in SolidWorks in collaboration with the MDE team.
Ensure all designs adhere to applicable ANSI, EIA/TIA, and AASHTO standards and project specifications.
Develop and monitor detailed project scopes, schedules, and engineering activity plans.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, internal project teams, vendors, and subcontractors to support project execution.
Prepare basic engineering requirements and foundational design data for structural projects.
Oversee scheduling of engineering activities and ensure timely receipt of technical information from clients and stakeholders.
Pay Details: $40.00 to $54.00 per hour
