Structural Engineer - ( 250002J9 ) **Description** **About the role** Are you an experienced Structural Engineer ready for the next step in your career? With a strong pipeline of project work, we’re looking for a motivated engineer to join our **New South Wales Buildings Team** in Sydney. You’ll be part of a well-established and growing team of social and professional engineers, delivering impactful projects across sectors such as **health, education, sports and leisure, defence, retail, and commercial buildings** . You’ll have access to tailored training, development programs, and long-term career opportunities within a global business. **Day to day tasks would involve:** * Assist and support Senior and Project Engineers in the technical delivery of building projects, ensuring smooth day-to-day progress. * Develop analytical models and prepare well-documented, self-reviewed structural calculation packages across various project phases. * Oversee and review evolving documentation for technical accuracy, while keeping Project Engineers informed of design progress. * Liaise with internal design teams, external architects, and clients to resolve technical queries and ensure coordinated outcomes. * Contribute to project proposals, change orders, and support scope, budget, and scheduling discussions as needed. * Deliver work aligned with professional standards, Stantec’s quality procedures, and contribute positively to team culture and continuous improvement. **Qualifications** **To be successful for this role you'll need:** + Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering + 4-10 years previous experience, we are happy to consider intermediate to senior level applications + Must have experience working in an engineering consultancy environment working on buildings projects.
