Summary: Seeking a Structural Engineer with expertise in steel industry and joist fabrication to provide technical direction, project coordination, and design consultation.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering with structural emphasis. E.I.T. certification required; P.E. license or relevant steel industry experience preferred. Familiarity with AISC, AISI, SJI, and SDI codes.

Preferred Skills:

STAAD/RISA experience.

Responsibilities:

Provide engineering consultation for joist and deck systems. Review projects for smooth progression through engineering and production phases. Assist in steel purchasing accuracy. Contribute to designs for Joists, Joist Girders, and Steel Decking per SJI and SDI standards. Design structural steel and connections per applicable codes. Interpret contract documents and coordinate with stakeholders. Develop solutions for fabrication and field modifications. Participate in product development including new material applications.

Pay Details: $65,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
