Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Structural Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a Structural Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and analyzing various structural systems for our projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with local building codes.
Develop and review structural designs for a wide range of projects, including commercial, residential, and industrial buildingsPerform complex structural calculations and analysis using advanced software toolsCreate detailed structural drawings and specifications using CAD softwareCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, mechanical engineers, and construction professionalsEnsure compliance with local building codes, standards, and regulations in Saudi ArabiaConduct site visits and inspections to assess structural integrity and construction progressPrepare and review technical reports, including structural assessments and feasibility studiesParticipate in project meetings and communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team membersStay updated on industry trends, innovative materials, and emerging technologies in structural engineeringMentor junior engineers and contribute to the overall growth of the structural engineering teamQualificationsMaster's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a closely related fieldMinimum of 15 years of technical experience in structural engineering, with a focus on building designProfessional engineering license or certification, with eligibility to practice in Saudi ArabiaProficiency in structural analysis software such as STAAD Pro, SAP2000, or similar toolsSkilled in Revit, Advance Steel, or other relevant BIM softwareStrong knowledge of local building codes and regulations in Saudi ArabiaExtensive experience in the design of steel and concrete structuresFamiliarity with seismic design principles and their application in structural engineeringExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detailStrong communication skills, both written and verbal, with fluency in EnglishAbility to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExperience with foundation design and soil-structure interaction analysisWillingness to perform site visits and inspections as neededDemonstrated ability to deliver high-quality work within project timelines and budgetsAdditional InformationAbout AECOM
