Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Structural Engineer to join our team in Bangkok, Thailand. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing various structural systems for buildings and infrastructure projects.

Develop and execute structural designs for an infrastructure projectPerform complex structural calculations and analysis using advanced software toolsCreate and review structural drawings, specifications, and other technical documentsCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, MEP engineers, and construction professionalsEnsure compliance with local building codes, standards, and regulationsConduct site visits to assess existing structures and monitor construction progressParticipate in project meetings and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholdersMentor junior engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of our engineering practicesStay updated on industry trends, innovative technologies, and sustainable design practices

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related fieldMinimum of 2 years of professional experience in structural engineeringProficiency in structural analysis and modeling software, such as ETABS, STAAD, RAM, SAFE, or SAPExperience with structural drafting software, including AutoCAD, REVIT, and MicroStationStrong knowledge of current structural engineering codes and regulationsExcellent problem-solving and critical thinking skillsOutstanding attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyEffective communication and teamwork abilitiesExperience with structural design tools like TEDDS, SAP2000, or Mathcad is preferredFamiliarity with various types of structural building design, including high-rise buildings, historical building retrofits, and post-tensioned construction is a plusThai language proficiency is beneficial but not requiredWillingness to adapt to the local work culture and environment in Bangkok
