Job Responsibilities:

*Structural Design

Design various types of structures, including simple to complex roadway bridges, retaining walls, and culverts in Illinois.
Prepare and review structural design calculations in accordance with the IDOT Bridge Manual and AASHTO code.

*Plan Preparation

Develop contract plans, specifications, and cost estimates for structures in Illinois.
Assist with bridge evaluations for rehabilitation and repair plan development.

*Inspection & Reporting

Perform bridge inspections and prepare Bridge Condition Reports (BCRs) as required.

*Quality & Compliance

Implement the corporate Quality Assurance Plan.

*Leadership & Mentorship

Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff.
Mentor junior staff and support their professional growth within the discipline and firm.

*Business Development

Collaborate with sales staff to create proposals in response to client RFPs.
Attend conferences and symposia to enhance the firm’s visibility and promote products/services.
