Purpose of the Role:
The Structural Designer is responsible for preparing and developing structural drawings, 3D models, and design deliverables in accordance with project requirements, international standards, and company procedures. The role works closely with structural engineers to translate engineering concepts into accurate, constructible design outputs that support safe and efficient project execution. In addition to producing design deliverables, the Structural Designer Level II ensures compliance with drafting standards, maintains design accuracy and quality, and contributes to the resolution of design-related issues. The position plays a key role in supporting project teams by delivering reliable and cost-effective design solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop detailed drawings, 3D models, and design deliverables in accordance with project requirements, schedule and technical requirements.
3D model development in accordance with standards and procedures.
Ensure compliance with project specifications and international standards and regulations.
Collaborate with engineers and other design disciplines to develop effective solutions.
Works with some autonomy and self-initiated technical guidance with regular interaction with senior/supervisor.
Qualifications / Skill Set:
Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or Drafting
5+ years of experience in structural design
Experience in Fixed/Floating Offshore structures design in both greenfield and brownfield projects
Strong proficiency in E3D, SP3D, BOCAD, TEKLA
Good understanding of offshore structures, steel detailing, and fabrication methods
Good communication and teamwork skills
