Summary: Seeking a Structural Design Manager with extensive marine design experience to lead a specialized design team and ensure compliance with technical requirements.

Requirements:

Ten years of marine design experience Proficiency in AutoCAD and Ship Constructor Strong knowledge of USCG, ABS, SOLAS, and government shipbuilding standards

Preferred Skills:

Experience in technical checking, field engineering, or production craft Familiarity with marine systems and the shipbuilding industry

Responsibilities:

Supervise and lead a specialized design team to achieve departmental goals Assist Production Engineering Manager with planning and organizing departmental activities Perform calculations related to strength of materials, weights, forces, and stresses Plan daily work schedules for designers and prepare work orders Review engineering deliverables for compliance with design requirements Develop innovative solutions for vessel design Ensure integration of purchase specifications into overall vessel design

Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $130,000.00 per year
