Summary: Seeking a Structural Bridge Engineer with expertise in bridge load rating, design, and familiarity with Massachusetts codes and guidelines.

Requirements:

5 years of experience in load calculations, load ratings, and design for railroad/roadway bridges Familiarity with AASHTO code for roadway bridges and AREMA code for railroad bridges Knowledge of MassDOT Bridge Manual and MBTA Design Guidelines Experience with structural steel/concrete

Preferred Skills:

Proficiency in AASHTOWare, STAAD Pro, MERLIN-DASH software EIT/PE certification is optional

Responsibilities:

Perform bridge load rating for railroad (train loadings) and roadway (truck loadings) bridges Design bridges considering both train and truck loadings Conduct local travel for bridge inspections

Pay Details: $75,000.00 to $95,000.00 per year
