Seeking a Senior Stress Engineer to perform stress and loads analysis of primary and secondary aircraft structures, equipment racks, and interior items using classical analysis methods and finite element techniques.
Requirements:
B.S. in Aerospace, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent field)
Minimum 10 years of aircraft structural analysis experience
Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
Experience in modification of transport category and general aviation aircraft (beneficial)
Required Skills:
Classical stress analysis
Finite element analysis using MSC/NASTRAN and PATRAN
Analysis of aircraft structural repairs
Preparation of stress reports for aircraft certification
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Preferred Skills:
Fatigue and damage tolerance analysis
Knowledge of commercial and military aircraft certification requirements
Responsibilities:
Conduct stress analysis of primary and secondary aircraft structures
Provide stress support for new design efforts
Support liaison engineering on structural modifications and repairs
Prepare detailed stress analysis reports for certification
Pay Details: $80.00 to $110.00 per hour
