We are looking for a Strategic Supply Chain Manager who can own complex problems within Supply Chain team. In this role, the candidate will work with cross-functional teams to identify and launch initiatives aimed at improving the customer and vendor experience.

Strategic Supply Chain Manager は、サプライチェーン戦略に責任を持つことで、最高クラスの顧客体験を実現すると同時に、コストの最適化を図ります。このロールは、需要予測・発注・在庫管理などのエコシステムの構築、管理、最適化を含むサプライチェーンの改革・改善に重要な役割を果たします。また、商品のセレクションの拡充、在庫化率の向上、お客様への配送スピードの向上、および、コストの最適化を実現するため、施策を計画し、実行に移します。これらのことを、アマゾン内のグローバルな関連チームや日本の出版社や取次などのベンダーと密接に協力することで実現します。

Key responsibilities
The Strategic Supply Chain Manager will demonstrate ownership of supply chain strategies to realize the best-in-class customer experience while optimizing cost structure. This role plays a critical role in helping Amazon build, manage and optimize a complex supply chain including Forecasting/Ordering/Inventory manage ecosystem. As Strategic Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for defining and executing plans to improve availability of products, delivery speed to customers, and supply chain cost. You will achieve these initiatives by partnering closely with and influencing cross-functional internal teams and Books vendors.
