This role spearheads annual and seasonal planning processes, ensuring cohesive brand storytelling throughout the year while building and maintaining strong brand equity. The position demands a strategic thinker who excels at both long-term brand building and tactical planning and project management with proven ability to orchestrate complex marketing calendars while fostering meaningful customer relationships **Here's where you;ll be focusing:** + Leads and owns the annual and seasonal planning process across all marketing initiatives + Develops comprehensive marketing calendars that balance brand building with business objectives + Orchestrates planning sessions and alignment meetings with key stakeholders + Leads development and execution of brand building campaigns across banners + Consistent management of banner related projects (Always On, Programs, Campaign) + Owns brand strategy and ensures consistent brand voice across all touchpoints + Partners with Category Marketing to elevate category stories within brand campaigns and annual plans + Ensures marketing initiatives align with and enhance overall brand positioning and guardrails + Drives continuous enhancement of brand perception and emotional connection with customers + Key role in developing high-impact creative campaigns and storytelling initiatives + Leads brand health tracking and consumer sentiment measurement + Optimizes brand campaign development and creative processes + Manages long-term brand investment planning + Provides strategic brand insights to senior management, highlighting opportunities and recommendations + Mentors direct reports in achieving their goals and developing their skills + Merchandising, Customer Experience & Operations (MMO) + Partners with CX to engage / kickoff annual & seasonal planning + Drive brand strategy alignment with customer experience + Ensure Marketing has an equal voice at the table, as the voice of the customer + Marketing COEs + Lead creative excellence in campaign development + Drive innovation in brand storytelling and customer connection + Collaborate with Category Marketing teams to identify and amplify category-specific brand building opportunities **What you have to offer:** + Undergraduate Degree in a related discipline + Minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience + Strong background in brand strategy and creative development + Proven track record in building and maintaining brand equity + Drive high performance: Be disciplined in strategic planning and brand building + Collaborate: Build relationships and engage in healthy debate + Drive for results: Uses consumer insights and research to guide decision making + Drives Innovation: Challenges status quo in brand development + Customer Obsessed: Ensures all decisions made are with deep customer understanding \#LI-CF2 #LI-Hybrid **Who we are:** We started in a small town in Nova Scotia but we are now in communities of all sizes across this great country.
