About this Role
Join a mission‑driven defense contractor helping to drive enterprise growth through corporate development including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships. You will lead market and financial analyses, establish and manage an opportunity pipeline, develop business cases, evaluate acquisition targets, and drive integration planning. You will accomplish this by fostering collaboration across both the Corporate and Business Segment including with Finance, Legal, and Operations teams and building consensus around strategic initiatives that deliver measurable value.
What You’ll Do
Own business cases for key decisions and growth opportunities (market assessments, financial modeling/valuation, sensitivity analyses, go‑to‑market recommendations).Lead MA activities such as target sourcing, strategic fit assessments, preliminary financials, accretion/dilution analysis, deal rationale, and post‑deal integration planning.Present recommendations and deal insights to Corporate and Segment senior leadership (CEO, CFO, and SVP-level stakeholders).Build and track a pipeline of organic and inorganic opportunities using a consistent, data-driven process.Monitor and engage with the market/industry including attending industry days, trade shows, site visits, and conferences/seminars.Analyze DoD priorities, appropriations, budget trends, customer capability gaps, and geo‑political developments.Collaborate closely with Corporate MA function to ensure alignment.Partner cross‑functionally with Finance, Legal, Programs, and Engineering teams to ensure successful execution.Create executive‑ready materials (e.g., strategic plans, investment memos, board/executive presentations).Leverage AI tools and analytic methods to synthesize research, accelerate financial modeling, and enhance competitive and market assessments.Location
