Strategy Manager

About The Role:

The Strategy Manager will play a pivotal role in guiding our company's growth by leading market research efforts, piloting a new product, or spearheading the expansion of our business into new countries within South East Asia. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Strategy and Investment, this role is crucial to the strategic direction and expansion of the company.

What Will You Do:

Conduct comprehensive market research to identify opportunities and threats in existing and potential new markets, including understanding merchant pain points, competitive landscape and regulatory requirements Lead the strategic planning and launching/ execution of market entry into new countries or businesses, including market assessment, budget, entry strategies, risk analysis, and roll-out strategy. Act as a country launcher by setting up a new entity (if required), executing market entry through regulatory filing, identifying clients or partners, and managing the relationship with in-country stakeholders Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as Product, Engineering, Operations, Marketing & PR, and Finance to ensure a seamless market launch, addressing legal, regulatory, marketing, and operational requirements. Review, analyse, and finalise relevant legal documents with the Legal and Compliance Team for all submissions to regulators, partners, and clients in the new country Provide support for ongoing strategy work, board presentations or management/ leadership meetings
