What will you do
Strategy
Leads the Strategic planning process for India including converting internal and external analysis into critical insights that will validate (or alter) Vision, Strategic Plan and initiatives.Partner with India Managing Director and India leadership team in development of growth strategy, building a roadmap covering key initiatives to deliver the strategy and leading some of the key initiatives while providing PMO support for others.Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights to identify key trends and opportunities for differentiation.Lead the planning and development of go to market strategy. Explore and implement alternate distribution models.Develop and implement a GTM framework and playbook for the organisationWork closely with channel team, marketing, sales, operations, finance and other cross-functional teams to execute go-to-market plans effectively.Business Development
Lead and develop the BD strategic plan for IndiaCollaborate with BU/Marketing teams and identify adjacencies, localisation opportunities and portfolio gaps and lead BD initiatives in partnership with the APAC BD/Commercial team to deliver the required market appropriate products and fill the gaps.Maintain a thorough and current knowledge of the healthcare/med device market including industry trends and emerging areas of opportunitiesPerform market opportunity assessment, prepare business case & identify targets of interestExecute transactions including negotiations with third parties, overseeing the drafting of related agreements, integration planning and securing internal and external approvals - lead the negotiation to obtain the best terms.Develop and maintain relationships with prospective acquisition targetsDevelop and maintain relationships with APAC, Divisional & Corporate BD teamsCollaborate with APAC/Divisional BD teams on global M&A deals as requiredAct as the India lead for business integrations to successfully integrate the acquired business ensuring a successful go liveDevelop and maintain the India integration process & playbook in line with the APAC process/playbookWhat will you need
Overall minimum 5-9 years of experience4-5 years of relevant industry experience including in healthcare management consulting would be a advantagePreferred Work Experience – Management consulting in Healthcare/Med Device or Strategy/Commercial/Marketing experience in Medical devices, Life Sciences industry.Educational qualification – MBA from a Top/reputed B SchoolStrong interpersonal skills, problem solving characterVery hands-on, Process driven and ability to stay focused and delivering high quality outcomes & team player, Inclusive and collaborativeOperate effectively in a multi-disciplinary matrix environmentWillingness to accept variety of assignments, highly motivated, with a natural ability to perform under stressTravel Percentage: 40%
