We are seeking qualified candidates for a Software Engineering student co-op position. You will have the opportunity to learn and contribute to development and testing of 3D PCB Layout and System Design software. You will work within an Agile Scrum-based engineering team, gaining industry experience in how multiple Agile teams and team members interact. Our teams develop software for designing Printed Circuit Boards and also write tools for internal use. You will be responsible for new software development and maintenance of existing tools in various languages (C++, Java, scripting languages, etc.) You will be expected to work as an effective team member, contribute to team decisions, and support peers closely in the software development process. We provide a great opportunity for you to learn the industry and grow into a full-time engineer with the right skills and experience.
Qualifications: Desire to grow as an engineer and achieve at a high levelComputer Science or Computer engineering majorsCompleted sophomore year and be classified as Junior by the first working team. This co-op will work full-time Fall 2025, Summer 2026 and Spring 2027. What you will learn: Competency in a variety of programming and scripting languages Linux and Windows scripting Co-operative education students participate in a structured educational strategy integrating classroom studies with learning through productive work experiences in a field related to a students academic or career goals. It provides progressive experiences in integrating theory and practice through a formal, structured work/study program with is defined by university requirements. Co-op students receive college credit/grade for their experience while alternating terms of work and school, typically over a three-year period.

The hourly range for this position is $18.00 to $50.00. Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location, as well as degree type and relevant education.
