As a Strategic Sourcing Specialist (Procurement Specialist) you’ll develop, validate, communicate and implement sourcing strategies for locally managed categories while following the Strategic Sourcing Process tools and policies. Ensure the efficient implementation of new or changing direct materials and suppliers as you implement cost improvement projects. + Proactively understand the business needs and requirements within the assigned scope for functional and plant level requirements. + Perform supplier market analysis, category analysis, and supply risk analysis, and develop the map of how sourcing process and channels work within the locally managed category + Prepare and execute negotiation events seeking best contracts and beneficial commercial agreements with suppliers for the locally managed categories. + Ensure compliance to Nestlé's Business Principles, policies, standards (e.g Procurement Policy, Procurement Standardized Model, Nestlé Responsible Sourcing Standard, Best Practices, etc.) + Interface and successfully collaborate with internal teams to deliver innovation, exclusivity and first market opportunities, as well as cost and process improvement initiatives. + Provide financial support for Budget, Price Forecasting and other financial activities for Procurement Finance.Manage yearly budget process, generate monthly price forecast, execute initiatives to provide additional value for Working Capital. **Requirements** + Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Agriculture Business or related field + 1+ years’ purchasing, strategic sourcing, procurement, logistics or related supply chain experience The approximate pay range for this position is $60,000 to $88,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
