Your Impact
The primary purpose of this role is to partner with key areas of the Enterprise Strategic Sourcing team to execute sourcing projects that accomplish the goals of both the organization and the business units they support. This position works closely with the sourcing manager and category manager to executive a variety of sourcing techniques that include data and baseline analysis, RFx development and contract execution. Other key components of the role include contributing to continuous improvement activities, building relationships with the business and support teams, and supporting key initiatives for the organization.
What You Will Do
Develop and execute RFPs, RFQs and RFIs, etc. as needed to support the business needs
Develop baseline analysis and current conditions for sourcing events
Consolidate vendor bid sheets
Complete initial bid analysis for sourcing events
Initiate vendor outreach and develops vendor list for sourcing events
Set up sourcing events using appropriate E-Sourcing tools and processes
Own and update ESS and business partners on sourcing project updates and status of initiatives
Negotiate, process and execute vendor NDA's and Master Agreements, while adhering to financial policies and compliance requirements
Draft and develop Statement of Work (SOWs) with the outline of technical requirements for sourcing projects and RFX events
Coordinate necessary documentation and process for vendor on-boarding
Expected to interface frequently with customers regarding project updates and status
Build and maintain effective customer relationships
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree Business, Engineering, Science, or related field
3 years Bachelor's degree in business, finance, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree
2+ years sourcing, market intelligence or vendor management experience. Experience in procurement, Supply Chain, Sales, Finance or similar work with an emphasis on sourcing, negotiations, and contracting
3+ years business experience
Knowledge and experience using E-sourcing tools
Financial and business acumen
Experience with financial data analysis, strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
Preferred Skills/Education
Master's Degree Business, Engineering, Science, or related field MBA, JD, MS, ME
Project management skills
Negotiation experience
Proficient with MS Office Suite
