Overview:
The Strategic Sourcing Contract Administrator will complete assigned duties related to Corporate Procurement’s centralized process to manage supplier contracts for the enterprise. This includes managing upcoming contract renewals and expirations, contract database maintenance, and contract management dashboard support. This roll minimizes monetary and operational risk through administration of the Bank’s centralized repository for supplier contracts.
Location:
This is a remote eligible position for those outside of Buffalo, NY. If located within commuting distance to Buffalo, NY, you will be required to work hybrid out of an office location. Priority consideration will be given to applicants living within the M&T Bank footprint. We define our footprint as CT, DE, ME, MD, MA, NH, NJ, NY, PA, VT, VA, WV or DC.Occasional travel and time spent working in-office at an M&T Bank office location may be required at the discretion of your managerPrimary Responsibilities:Coordinate and organize supplier contract information for the Strategic Sourcing Team.Upload and enter contracts into the Contract Repository accurately, capturing critical operational detailsAdminister a monthly process to solicit contract disposition feedback from internal stakeholders and take associated action.Generate regular and ad-hoc departmental reports as required and/or requested.Execute quality control processes to maintain data integrity.Complete project work to enhance contract metadata.Respond to requests for contract documentation.Provide input on process improvement initiatives.Review and analyze existing third-party contracts against Bank standardsUnderstand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company’s risk appetite.Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand.Complete other related duties as assigned.Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities:No supervisory responsibilities.Education and Experience Required:Associates’ degree and a minimum of 1 years’ work experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 3 years’ higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 1 years’ work experienceStrong verbal and written communication skillsDetail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skillsStrong time management skillsWorking knowledge of personal computers including word processing, spreadsheet, presentation and contact management softwareEducation and Experience Preferred:Bachelor’s DegreeExperience with Contract Lifecycle Management and eSignature software toolsM&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $18.57 - $30.95 Hourly (USD). The successful candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.
