We are in position to offer a great job opportunity to work as Strategic sourcing buyer, based in Juarez, Chihuahua in which you will have an excellent opportunity to work in an International and growing environment where you will drive value through expert contract management, innovative category strategies, and robust vendor partnerships.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategies to reduce the requisitions turnaround time and accomplish organizational goals.  Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement short- and long-term category strategies to meet KPIs, reduce requisition turnaround times, and achieve corporate savings targets. Negotiation & Compliance: Lead high-stakes negotiations for rebates and long-term agreements while ensuring all documentation adheres to legal standards and company policies. Vendor Management: Select and manage key suppliers, resolving operational issues and discrepancies to maintain long-term organizational advantages. Process Excellence: Drive continuous cost-reduction improvements and ensure strict adherence to best practices, P2P procedures, and regulatory requirements. Operational Support: Prepare and review purchase orders for accuracy, establish purchasing catalogs to eliminate repetitive spot buys, and support business segments across geographical areas.

To be successful in this role you need:

Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years in a Purchasing function and 2+ years within the automotive manufacturing sector. Strong negotiation and analytical abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office application programs. English proficiency C1-C2 Self-motivated leader with a service-oriented attitude and effective communication skills. Ability to stay organized and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines. Focus on continuous improvement and strict adherence to purchasing policies.
