Boeing's Indirect Supply Chain’s (ISC) organization is currently seeking Strategic Sourcing and Contracting Specialists (Senior or Lead) to join our Information Technology & Data Analytics (IT&DA) team. This position may be based out Mesa, AZ; Everett, WA; Hazelwood, MO; North Charleston, SC or Seattle, WA. Our team is open to candidates with a broad range of experience levels, including Senior or Lead Specialists.

As a Strategic Sourcing and Contracting Specialist, you will own end-to-end procurement activities including but not limited to early engagement with stakeholders, sourcing strategy development, RFP authoring, proposal analysis, Terms & Conditions negotiation, and purchase orders. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of the procurement lifecycle, possess experience in supplier negotiations, and have an established record of managing supplier relationships with mutually beneficial outcomes.

In this role, you will have the following responsibilities related to IT Software, Infrastructure and Services

Position Responsibilities:

Evaluate supplier capabilities, performance, and market offerings

Develop source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies that satisfy customer needs

Negotiate long-term agreements (terms and conditions)

Create and oversee strategic contracts

Engage in stakeholder and contract lifecycle management

Support the development and implementation of category strategies

Demonstrate strong business and financial insight

Lead and mentor team members, with the ability to identify and enhance their skills

Recommend and implement supply chain process improvements

Lead cross functional teams to identify and develop implementation plans for key high value projects

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

5+ years of experience in supplier management, supply chain, or contracts

5+ years of experience in category management or strategic sourcing

3+ years of experience collaborating with IT suppliers and negotiating IT contracts

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

10+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

5+ years of experience negotiating interpreting, editing, and/or and conditions leveraging the support of a Contracts team

5+ years of experience implementing process and/or strategy improvements

Project leadership skills and the ability to build positive working relationships

Professional verbal and written communication skills frequently leveraged in presenting to executives

Experience with Ariba

Institute of Supply Chain Management certifications or other industry certifications

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Senior (Level 4) Summary pay range: $106,250 - $154,100

Lead (Level 5) Summary Pay Range: $124,100 - $179,400
