Aston Carter is seeking experienced procurement professionals to join a leading financial firm as consultants supporting the IT Category. This role involves managing the full deal lifecycle, including strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and stakeholder engagement. The ideal candidate will bring strong procurement expertise and a collaborative mindset to help drive efficiency and value across the firm’s IT procurement operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead medium-complexity sourcing engagements over $250K within the IT category.Support Category Leads on high-complexity procurement initiatives.Develop negotiation strategies and guide internal stakeholders through the contracting process.Collaborate with Category Leads to execute sourcing plans using competitive bids, supplier consolidation, co-terming, and evaluation agreements.Assist with Oracle system administration tasks related to procurement.Partner cross-functionally with Supplier Management, Vendor Management Offices, Third Party Risk Management, and internal clients.Translate business requirements into RFx documentation and manage the end-to-end competitive bidding process.Ensure fair business practices and consistent procurement standards.Continuously improve procurement processes and contribute to departmental technology initiatives.Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of relevant procurement experience.Proven experience in strategic sourcing and stakeholder management.Familiarity with software and cloud services procurement.Experience with AI technologies is a plusPay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $58.00/hr.
