Strategic Raw Material Manager Na RSA - Erlanger, KY
PURPOSE OF JOB:
This is a strategic leadership role reporting to the Global Raw Materials Lead for Flavors & Colors, with the following main purpose(s) to:Develop and execute ways of working to support transfer of materials between NA sites and to align processes.Alignment across the region for RM data interpretations, including GHS and other HAZCOM data.Collaboration with Procurement and Quality ManagementMay act as RSA FC site administrative matters for WH, KZ, MON in consultation with Region LEAD CF.Operate as RSA FC Pillar’s primary liaison in matters requiring local / regional representation within and outside of ADM NutritionBe responsible for the oversight and coordination of daily functions within the respective site RSA teams, including staff metrics (Key Performance Indicators (KPIs))Manage the local people talent pool and drive regional execution in line with business plans; manage any conflict resolutionDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Represent RSA Flavors & Colors (FC) Pillar as the local Regulatory-Business InterfaceMay act as go-to contact person for regional and local personnel management and facility matters for WH, KZ, MON.Operate within budget & provide input to regional budgets & headcount discussionsEnsure regional RSA team members are adequately resourced to serve the commercial and technical needs of business stakeholders regarding the FC product portfolio and daily operationsEnable local business execution, manage resource priorities & constraints; enable cross-regional discussions/assignments, as well as ensure global platform leads are supported at the local levels within their areas of responsibilityEnsure alignment and engagement of the RSA local teams, using common ways of working, for daily interactions of RSA and business / client stakeholders within the regionEnable people-development and encourage a diverse environment within the regional teamsCreate opportunities for staff development & growth, especially in people management and subject-matter areasEXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:Preferred 7-10 years or more experience in chemical, food/beverage, flavor or related industryMinimum 5 years in Regulatory AffairsMinimum 3 Years in People leadership experience desiredAbility to work in a team environment and exercise a cross-cultural and international approachExcellent communication skills and a very good command of both written and spoken EnglishComputer Skills and excellent user-knowledge in business-relevant software (SAP, Microsoft Office Package)Business AcumenTravel - 10%EDUCATION:University Degree (Bachelors or higher) in Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry, Toxicology, or other related fieldANY OTHER REQUIREMENTS:Leadership Skills (conflict-resolver, team-builder, motivational leader, strategic and global thinker)Ability to identify employees’ individual capabilities, as well as group needsProactive, solution-oriented, service-minded attitude Strong sense of ownership and responsibility, high degree of commitment Solid understanding of Food Industry structure, global regulatory landscape & regulatory implicationsExcellent communication skills - can relate regulatory topics to non-regulatory audiences and tie this into business contextAbility to focus priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlinesStrategic and out-of-the-box thinkingExcited about this role but don’t think you meet every requirement listed?
