Strategic Programs Lead, Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO)
As a key member of the Strategic Initiatives Team, you will transform promising experiments into scalable initiatives across WWSO (Worldwide Specialist Organization). Our team accelerates growth by identifying, validating, and scaling new opportunities, combining business strategy, technical expertise, and operational excellence to transform insights into impactful initiatives aligned with WWSO and AWS strategic priorities.

WWSO Mission: WWSO builds and executes strategies that accelerate AWS adoption while democratizing expertise and driving product innovation, led by our vision to ensure AWS is the best place to run today's and tomorrow's workloads. The Strategic Initiatives Team plays a crucial role in this vision by identifying and validating opportunities that drive meaningful customer outcomes at scale.

This role reports to the Strategic Initiatives Team leadership and works closely with Strategy and Technical teams to drive growth initiatives across WWSO.

- Design and execute programs that develop organizational capabilities while leveraging automation and AI
- Create repeatable processes and playbooks for scaling successful initiatives
- Drive accountability through clear metrics and governance mechanisms
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver business outcomes

- Building sustainable operational processes that evolve while leveraging emerging technology

About the team
This position is part of the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP). Specialists own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for their respective technology domains, providing the business and technical expertise to help our customers succeed. Partner teams own the strategy, recruiting, development, and growth of our key technology and consulting partners. Together they provide our customers with the expertise and scale needed to build innovative solutions for their most complex challenges.
