Strategic Pricing Manager

Description:

RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Responsible for the management of the organization's strategic chargemaster pricing guidelines, processes, and supporting analytics. Manages and performs functions that support Piedmont's pricing strategy, including pricing standardization, defensibility, profitability assessments, and identification of opportunities for revenue enhancement. Oversees analytics projects that support chargemaster alignment and optimization. Monitors performance and conducts analyses to identify opportunities; develops recommendations for potential solutions. Collaborates with divisions throughout the organization to ensure alignment and achievement of strategic pricing objectives.

Qualifications:

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university in Business, Finance, Accounting, or closely-related field is required.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Five years of progressive work experience in strategic pricing, chargemaster management, or analytics, preferably in a multi-entity healthcare environment, is required.

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
None

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Possesses advanced computer skills with a strong knowledge of spreadsheet programs. Experience with database and decision support systems preferred. Demonstrates the ability to perform under stressful and changing circumstances and deadlines. Demonstrates effective written and oral communication skills.
