Job SummaryIron Mountain is seeking a motivated Strategic Planning Collector to join our Customer Excellence team.
In this role, you will be responsible for independently managing a dedicated portfolio of North American accounts to minimize delinquency and optimize cash flow. You will serve as a vital link between our American clients and our internal Sales and Billing teams, ensuring a healthy portfolio through expert negotiation and conflict resolution.
You will join a dynamic, global Accounts Receivable team focused on process standardization and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll DoIn this role, you will:
Manage a high-volume account portfolio by proactively contacting customers via phone and email to resolve billing disputes and minimize delinquency rates.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including District, Area, and Division teams, to identify payment barriers and escalate complex collection issues to leadership when necessary.
Maintain accurate financial documentation within Oracle and other collection systems to ensure full compliance with Iron Mountain policies and departmental standards.
What You’ll BringThe ideal candidate will have:
Proven experience in a call center or collections environment, with a demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced team setting.
Advanced proficiency in English and technical literacy, including intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Google Workspace.
Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills, with the ability to exercise independent judgment to resolve customer issues and raise the bar for service excellence.
A University degree in Business or Finance, along with a clear criminal reference check as required for this role.
